第二項就提到jitter
- Jitter elimination. Jitter (=noise in the timing of the signal) was for many years a serious problem in digital audio giving an unnatural and harsh sound in many cases. Modern components and careful design completely eliminates this problem.
但並沒說怎麼做的...
- Less-sounds-better. If there are less components in the audio signal path, there is less chance for degradation of the sound. Less components also means the remaining components can be of higher quality within the budget, further supporting great sound.
訊號路徑越簡單越好，沒錯。
- No SMD for analogue. For the analogue parts, we decided to use traditional components, not Surface Mount Devices (SMD). Traditional components are more expensive to mount, but their bigger size often gives better sound quality. For high-speed digital, SMD components are usually better suited because of their smaller size.
說不用SMD零件...嗯...這我持懷疑態度...
這些年零件的發展都朝SMD方向，大幅進步，穿孔式供應量日漸減少；
就電路路徑來看，SMD比穿孔式少很多，路徑單純，crosstalk低，ground/power plane也完整的多。
- Keeping active components in their optimum range. The most effective way to process signals inside a DAC is using op-amps. In order to get the best sound, our designs are limiting the number of op-amps in the signal path. The op-amps we use are the best in the world and are kept in class-A operation to avoid any sound degradation. The CY-3100 doesn't use a current to volatge (I/V) stage, eliminating one opamp.
這段很誠實的說，用OP是最"有效"的方法，可沒說是聲音最好，。
- Distributed power sources. The power supplied to the various parts of a DAC has a large influence in the sound. Ideally, every stage should have its own power supply. The CY-3100 DAC uses 8 regulators in total to reach that goal. Many hours of testing and listening where spend on selecting the best sounding combination of regulators.
用上八個穩壓耶～真好真好...
可以預期聲音乾淨，大場面不亂。
- For USB we use ‘floating earth’ technology which means noise signals from your computer are shielded from the sensitive analogue parts of our DAC’s and the USB connection is free from ground loops.
USB部分用上浮動地線，不知怎麼做的...
- Fun to use! Apart from great sound quality, the DAC’s are fun to use. This is done by offering both fully automatic operation for people that don’t have time to read manuals and advanced settings for those who want to tweak the sound with the included remote control.
無需看手冊就會用，對啊，機器就該如此。
音量都可調，這個好～
正在唱的是DAC CY-5100DSD（目前二隻樣品之一），以及採用MOSFET的擴大機（也是少數幾隻樣品），
而且，價格可能會很殺手喔...
另一款外觀幾乎相同，只是用黑色轉鈕的DAC CY-3100，
你可能會想，這公司太小了吧...
別擔心，由裡到外，由電路設計、生產、組裝、手冊、紙箱、出貨外箱全都是量產級的，
畢竟主事者是外商國際公司出身的荷蘭工程師，做事嘛，一板一眼，法規要求的一切他都照做，絕不含糊。
而且，這隻的價格，非常的殺手！學生級的！
