殘殘...Airport Express開落去！

上回提到用Apple AirPort Express取代CD轉盤，

拖拖拉拉，終於，殘殘買了...

花了些時間設定，原來...

可以透過Ethernet，也可以透過WiFi控制與通訊，

Ethernet port可以當LAN port，也可以當WAN port，

WiFi部份可以當access point，也可以當NIC，也可以關掉（不過有個bug...），

嘿～功能真是齊全啊～

這下之前的顧慮全都消除囉～

用我的Mac或PC都能透過Ethernet接上，

也能取代手上那個爛的很的802.11b access point，

真是太妙了～

設定好之後，iTune一開，選擇喇叭，也就是這隻AirPort Express，

嘿，音響開始唱歌囉～

從此不再被那隻NAD502挑片這問題煩惱囉～

聲音如何？

先看Stereophile的review吧～裡面有一堆測試圖表，值得一看～（雖然測試這隻是舊版的）

最後的結論這麼寫

Considering that the AirPort Express's analog output is basically a freebie function added to a computer Wi-Fi hub, jitter aside, its measured performance is quite good. The beauty of this unassuming component, however, is its S/PDIF data output, which allows the AirPort Express to assume a respectable role in a true high-end audio system.

正合我的應用！雖然說測試法有點怪...

幹嘛不直接測S/PDIF，反倒測後面那隻DAC的analog out？

下次抓去Mayor那裡玩，他那隻Accuphase CD player有digital in，

那Airport Express + PC來和這隻player裡面那個超厚重但貴得很的轉盤比看看囉～

另外有趣的，有人玩過同時用iTune傳送給五隻Airport Express，沒問題！

六隻就不行了...

另外好玩的，不只iTune可以stream給Airport Express，別家軟體也可以，

Airfoil就是！有熱心人士破解了！Wikipedia就查得到...

反過來勒？自己弄個機器取代Airport Express？還不行，還沒破解...

真是可惜...

為何台灣的廠商不做這類型的產品？

很難嗎？裡面哪個東西是台灣做不來的？
